Mar. 6th, 2021 09:52 amDoc was the first person in Waverly's life that didn't see her as a kid or as one of the crazy Earp kids, which made her become really close to him. However, Wynonna was insanely jealous because Doc was one of the few men in the town that wasn't fawning over her and she would get mad if she saw them together. The boiling point came when there was a blizzard and Wynonna left Waves at Shorty's. It was too dangerous to drive to the homestead so Doc took Waves home with him where she slept in his bed and he slept on the couch. The following day, Wynonna found out and pulled a gun on Doc, threatening to kill him. Since she didn't want Doc to get hurt, she stopped hanging out with him.
Eventually, they figured out how to break the Earp curse and the curse on the area. With so many curses being lifted, families that had been trapped there for generations were finally able to leave and a lot of them did. When Doc decided to move to Minnesota, Waves wanted to go with him but didn't dare ask since Wynonna was still there and she was afraid of what she might do. A few months after Doc left, Wynonna left, too, saying she was sick of everyone there, including Waves.
With Wynonna gone, Waves went to the garden to learn more about herself. After learning how to control her abilities, she was rewarded with a set of books. She was to choose the book of the person she loved the most. After very little hesitation, she picked Doc's. After coming back, she sold the homestead to a developer for a large chunk of money. As she was getting ready to leave Colorado, she ran into an old fae friend of hers that told her about the new fae/supernatural brothel Doc was opening outside of Smallville. So now she's waiting s so she can go to Smallville to surprise Doc and give him the gift from his book.
